As the leather label reveals, this jacket is part of the "50th Anniversary" Heritage Collection. With it, Rocky Mountain Featherbed celebrates the 50th anniversary of the trademark's registration in the USA in 1974!

The "Christy Down Jacket" by Rocky Mountain Featherbed is based on the iconic down jackets developed in America in the late 1960s. They were primarily worn by cowboys during their daily work.

Even back then, the 90/10 down-to-feather filling provided optimal thermal insulation. The durable nylon and one-piece leather shoulder panel protect against moisture.

These special vests have been handcrafted in Japan since the 1980s. While the look remains the same, the material and cut have been adapted to meet modern needs.
