The "Lot 224 66 Model" is an admirably detailed reproduction of the jeans from the 1960s, when denim found its way into casual wear and became increasingly popular. The 14.5oz Right Hand Twill Selvedge Denim was lovingly and meticulously developed on the basis of the original denim: irregular yarns are spun from high-quality cotton ("ring-spun"), elaborately "rope-dyed" with indigo and refined with vegetable dye to achieve a particularly deep indigo tone. The patiently dipped yarns are woven on vintage GL3 looms, The irregular thick properties are thus retained and give the denim a unique character.
