The M-65 was first issued to U.S. Army soldiers in 1965. Shaped by film appearances by Robert Deniro in Taxi Driver and Götz George as Schimanski, the M-65 Field Jacket became a staple of pop and youth culture and perhaps one of the most important garments in the history of men's fashion.

The Real McCoy's dared to recreate the icon, and they more than succeeded. Authentic details like the four cargo pockets, epaulettes, and adjustable drawstring at the hem and waist have been reproduced down to the smallest detail without compromise.

The selection of materials was no less meticulous. The quality of the fabrics, the zippers, the buttons and every other element without exception were The Real McCoy's specially developed to ensure absolute authenticity.
