The The "BR42452 Mitchell Pattern Camouflage Trousers Civilian Model" by Buzz Rickson's are based on the utility pants from the Vietnam War era. The fabric pattern itself was originally developed for tents and helmet covers – officially never for clothing, but some locally made pieces still made it to the streets. Named after Meldon Mitchell, the artist and former Marine.

Made from tightly woven cotton sateen with a slightly aged finish, the trousers feel robust while remaining comfortable to wear. As with the original, the fabric is printed on both sides: green for the jungle, brown for the sand – the trousers are worn with the jungle side facing out.
