The Shellcap Low is inspired by classic sneakers and deck shoes.
The Hanpu Cotton Canvas upper is manufactured in Kojima on traditional looms exclusively for PRAS and is robust and breathable.
The vulcanized sole provides additional stability. This process creates a solid bond between the sole and the fabric, ensuring the sole retains its shape and doesn't peel off.
During vulcanization at the MoonStar factory in Kurume, the shoes are heated to over 100 degrees Celsius and subjected to pressure for about an hour. It is one of the last factories to continue using this time-consuming, yet durable, process for almost 150 years.
