SUN SURF – the epitome of the Hawaiian shirt! The brand pays homage to the legendary rayon aloha shirts from the golden era between the 1930s and 1950s. Since its founding in the 1970s, SUN SURF has collected and analyzed countless vintage shirts to create authentic replicas – with great success!

The dragon design is by Muriel Mercer, who, after graduating from the School of Fine Arts in Chicago, studied painting at the University of Hawaii and worked as a textile designer. She was known as "Lady Muriel" in the Hawaiian textile world and was a popular designer. The original was produced by the American brand HAUOLI KAMAAINA.
