The "Union Henley Undershirt L/S" is inspired by the classic Henley shirts that were extremely popular with union workers in the USA in the period before World War II.

The Henley itself has a long tradition: Originally worn as an undershirt by English gentlemen in the 19th century, it found its way to the rowers of the Royal Regatta in Henley, Oxfordshire, England – and thus received its distinctive name.

It developed into a practical garment for workers throughout England and the USA. As a layer under work uniforms, it helped reduce the need for frequent washing of shirts and overalls, and thus became an indispensable part of everyday work clothing. A piece of history that has retained its functionality and style to this day.
