The “1177-ID Indigo x Black Sashiko Denim” by Pure Blue Japan combines traditional craftsmanship with timeless design.

Sashiko denim is produced in small batches on Jacquard looms. The robust weight and distinctive R A swirling stitch texture gives each pair character. The sulfur dyeing allows the fabric to develop a unique fading pattern over time—no two pieces are alike.

The classic five-pocket silhouette meets the relaxed tapered fit: the thighs and hips sit loosely, and the leg tapers from the knee down.

Details like the custom nickel button placket, the deerskin patch, and the subtle indigofera leaf on the right back pocket add subtle accents—small signs of Japanese craftsmanship that come alive with every wear.
