The The SUGAR CANE SC15716 14.25 oz Denim Jacket "1953 Aged Model Cartoon" is a homage to the iconic denim jackets of the 1950s – a time when denim made the leap from workwear to casual wear. Made from robust 14.25 oz selvedge denim, it impresses with its authentic wash, clean lines and striking silhouette.

The hand-painted cartoon design on the back is particularly special, inspired by a series from the years 1925–1929, published in the Frisco Railroad employee magazine. The motifs come from John L. Goggie, whose humorous and easily accessible illustrations were very popular at the time. Applied laboriously and adorned with the SUGAR CANE logo, each jacket of this model is a unique piece of denim history that brings together workwear, art and subculture.
