This flight jacket from DOUBLE HELIX is an authentic reproduction of the Type A-2 Rough Wear 23380, the third of a total of five jackets produced by the renowned Rough Wear company for the US Air Force. Developed in the 1940s, the A-2 combines functionality with timeless style and is a symbol of the pioneering spirit of aviation.

Made from 0.8 mm thick French horse leather, which has been treated with a water-repellent finish to protect against rain.

The different texture and density of the leather gives the jacket shine and depth, creating a varied color scheme that changes depending on the light.
