The A-2 by DOUBLE HELIX is a unique interpretation of the classic. Instead of smooth leather, it features French horsehide with a suede look – soft, dense, and with a vibrant surface. Clean lines, perfect proportions, developed in collaboration with Burg & Schild and available exclusively here.

The model is the Type A-2 Rough Wear 23380, one of Rough Wear's legendary contracts with the US Air Force. Developed in the 1940s, the jacket combines clean lines, robust construction, and the pioneering spirit of early aviation.

The 0.8 mm thick suede has been treated with a light water-repellent finish for everyday wearability. The soft, slightly irregular surface catches light and shadow, develops a patina with wear, and makes each jacket unique.
