The Tanker Jacket is one of the legendary field jackets of World War II. Originally designed for tank crews, it quickly gained popularity due to its simplicity, warmth, and mobility – qualities that soon made it popular among pilots and other units as well.

Buzz Rickson's has reissued this version under the Aviation Associates label – a line that cites civilian flight jackets from the 1930s and 40s, inspired by pieces that were in circulation at the time parallel to the official versions.

The jacket is made of herringbone twill, which was originally used in the "Frogskin" camouflage pattern - but here it is dyed in earthy khaki. The camouflage pattern remains only slightly recognizable, almost like a shadow in the fabric.
