The M-51 Parka by Buzz Rickson's is an updated version of the M-48 parka, developed during World War II. To protect U.S. troops from the cold, a layering system was developed that allowed the parka to be worn over regular clothing.

While the original model was made of thick cotton satin, from 1952 onwards Oxford cotton nylon was used, which also made the parka considerably lighter.

The jacket impresses not only with its timeless, comfortable cut and durability, but also with its excellent workmanship and the specially selected, authentic materials.
