The "BR69444 C-2 Type Heavy Cotton Jersey" jacket from Buzz Rickson's is based on the C-2 flight jacket designed for the US Army Air Corps in the 1940s.

Originally made of wool, it served as a warming underlayer for the A-2 leather jacket.

This version is knitted from a high-density two-ply cotton yarn that provides excellent protection against the cold and is easier to care for than wool.
