The SUN SURF " SS79544 Café la Paisano " T-Shirt is made of heavy slub jersey, knitted in Japan on rare circular knitting machines from the 1920s to 1960s. Cotton yarns of varying thicknesses combine to create a loose, textured fabric that tells a story with every fiber.

Only about 400 of these old machines are still in use today – making each shirt a true piece of craftsmanship.

The back print? A fictional café called "La Paisano" – somewhere in Hawaii, perhaps right on the coastal road, perhaps only in our imaginations. The lettering is reminiscent of old billboards from the 1950s, with a reference to the islands below, where American pop culture meets Japanese precision and local idiosyncrasies. This is precisely where the roots of SUN SURF lie: between the Aloha spirit, rock 'n' roll romance, and a healthy dose of wanderlust.
