FoxFibre® ist eine Baumwolle, die ihre Farbe direkt in der Pflanze trägt. Kein Färben, kein Bleichen – nur Erde, Sonne und Zeit.

Entwickelt wurde sie von Sally Fox, einer Pionierin im biologischen Baumwollanbau. Auf einer kleinen Farm in New Mexico wachsen die Pflanzen in natürlichen Braun- und Erdtönen. Die Farbe entsteht im Faserinneren und wird mit jeder Wäsche lebendiger, tiefer und individueller – ganz ohne künstliche Zusätze.

Für dieses T-Shirt wird FoxFibre® mit 85 % biologischer, extra langstapeliger und Upland-Baumwolle gemischt. Das Ergebnis ist ein ausgewogener 228 GSM Jersey mit natürlicher Wärme, hoher Stabilität und einer weichen, dichten Oberfläche. Kleine Einschlüsse, Neps und feine Baumwollstrukturen bleiben sichtbar und geben dem Stoff seine lebendige, ursprüngliche Anmutung.

Gestrickt wird der Jersey auf traditionellen Tsuriami-Rundstrickmaschinen in Wakayama, Japan. Der Prozess ist langsam und bewusst: nur etwa ein Meter Stoff pro Stunde entsteht hier. Diese Zeit schafft eine besondere Flexibilität und Formstabilität, die moderne Strickverfahren so nicht erreichen.
