The "SC39527 Chambray Work Shirt" by SUGAR CANE is based on a classic—now with an embroidered back. The model: American workshirts of the 1950s, worn in workshops, garages, and boxing clubs.

The fabric: unbleached cotton chambray in off-white, woven from natural warp and weft yarns. Small inclusions, fine pills, and traces of the cotton boll give the fabric character – a vivid reflection of its origins and craftsmanship. Cool to the touch, durable in use. The triple chain stitch on the main seams ensures stability without adding bulk.

The chain stitching on the back and pocket is reminiscent of old club shirts. In this case, Hayward Aztlan Boxing Club. A nod to times when a name on the back said more than any logo on the chest.
