Spinning cotton into yarn creates a large amount of waste, known as cotton balls, whose irregular shape complicates production. They are therefore considered unusable and thrown away. Studio D'Artisan recycles these cotton balls instead of disposing of them. This is a highly sustainable approach. The balls are collected and processed into usable yarn. This recycled yarn is then woven into durable denim, giving new life to what was once considered waste. What makes this recycled cotton denim special are the irregularities inherent in the fabric. They create a natural, unique texture and a distinctive, charming vintage look.

Note: The jeans run about two sizes smaller – W34 therefore corresponds to a regular W32.
