The inspiration for PORTER's "Flying Ace" series was the US AIR FORCE's "FLYING SUIT / TYPE K-2A" nylon flight suit manufactured in the early 1950s. Both materials and details were developed with a focus on practicality, functionality and durability. Porter remains true to these principles: the nylon manufactured in Japan combines durability and lightness. Super-tightly woven, it has tear- and abrasion-resistant properties. A special coating agent called "CERAKOTE" was used for metal fasteners, which consists mainly of ceramic and is currently used by the US military. The various inside pockets and compartments leave plenty of room for organized storage.
