The "Lot 403 Set-In Freedom Sleeve Sweatshirt" from Warehouse & Co. is truly a masterpiece, perfectly capturing the vintage aesthetic of the 1940s. What makes this sweatshirt so special is its unique "Set-In Freedom" construction: the shoulders are set-in style, while the underarms feature a freedom sleeve design. This clever construction not only ensures a great fit but also allows for plenty of freedom of movement.

Of particular note is the fabric's production on historic circular knitting machines, typical of the 1940s. These machines, from renowned manufacturers such as Terrot, allow the fabric to be knitted in such a way that it drapes softly. This process minimizes pressure during winding and incorporates air into the fabric, resulting in exceptional softness. After washing and drying, the fabric develops a particularly pleasant feel against the skin, which cannot be achieved with modern knitting techniques.
