The style of the "IHM-45" jacket by IRON HEART is based on the A-2 deck jacket issued to US Navy sailors in the early 1960s. It was the successor to the legendary N-1 deck jacket. The changes involved choosing a lighter material and modifying some functional details: the collar was modified, the hem was provided with an adjustable drawstring and an additional chest pocket was added for more versatility.

The IRON HEARTS version is made from robust, oiled cotton whipcord. The special, tightly woven finish keeps out wind and moisture, and the additional oil treatment reinforces this effect. Lined with temperature-regulating wool, it keeps you warm even in icy temperatures.
