IHM-49-BLK 21oz Melton Wool M65 Field Jacket Black

The “IHM-49-BLK” from IRON HEART is based on the legendary M-65 Field Jacket, as introduced to the US military in the mid-1960s. The cut and construction remain deliberately close to the original: four generously sized front pockets, the distinctive field jacket collar with integrated hood, and a functional, clean design.

The material has been completely reimagined. Instead of classic military sateen, an exceptionally dense 21oz Melton Wool is used – double-woven, heavy, and windproof. The high wool content provides warmth, while a small amount of nylon increases durability. Inside, a Japanese Ventile lining complements the construction and offers additional protection from wind and weather without appearing technical.

The result is an M-65 that doesn't deny its military origins, but takes them significantly further: made for low temperatures, long days outdoors, and serious winters. A familiar silhouette – realized with uncompromising materials.
