Vasco's "Leather Postman Bag US Mail" is based on the mailbags used by American postmen in the first half of the 20th century. Its design reflects its original purpose: organized, robust, and designed for everyday use.

The leather used is vegetable-tanned and sourced from the Japanese prefecture of Himeji, a region renowned for its tanneries for generations. Tanned with mimosa and chestnut tannins, it is then hand-dyed with oils using a traditional method. The result is a distinctive, consistently vibrant surface that continues to develop its character over time.
