This collaboration brings together two worlds that, at first glance, appear different – and precisely for that reason, complement each other.

BIRKENSTOCK has always stood for function, construction, and a clear understanding of form. SONG FOR THE MUTE, on the other hand, works with emotion, material depth, and a certain restlessness in the surface. In this collection, both approaches meet – not as a compromise, but as an expansion.

Familiar silhouettes are taken up and deliberately altered: through material selection, structure, and details.

A shoe like a work in progress:

The London silhouette from BIRKENSTOCK is deliberately deconstructed in this collaboration. Inspired by the “Artist,” it represents a direct, unfiltered approach to material.

The suede leather shows uneven coloring and speckles that evoke wear rather than design. The surface appears worked rather than refined – self-assured in expression, without appearing staged.
