In 2024, Greenbaum Brothers will celebrate its impressive 150th anniversary. The company's history dates back to 1873, when Levi Strauss & Company received a patent for reinforcing clothing pockets with metal rivets. Just one year later, in 1874, Greenbaum Brothers went a step further and received a patent for reinforcing stress points with leather. The revolutionary trousers quickly became popular and were considered indestructible workwear in the West and Midwest until the 1890s.
To mark the anniversary, WAREHOUSE has recreated the original design of the "Leather Bound Overalls" from the 19th century with a lot of passion and attention to detail. The lightweight denim woven for this has the historical yarn thickness 7x16 and is known as "Two-by-One Denim".
