These shorts from Buzz Rickson's are based on the classic fatigue pants. Made from a tightly woven cotton sateen with Mitchell Camo Pattern, which was tested between 1948 and 1953 alongside a number of other camouflage patterns and proved to be particularly effective. It was named after its designer, the artist and former Marine Meldon Mitchell.
