The Nashville is still produced today by one of the oldest denim manufacturers in Japan in exactly the same way as in the 1950s. This includes the red selvedge edge, which is worn rolled up and visible, and the special pre-shrunk treatment of the fabric, i.e. cotton pre-treated with steam, which only shrinks minimally in length when washed.
