Sashiko is an ancient Japanese embroidery technique, originally used to reinforce and repair work clothes. The visible stitches create not only robustness but also a distinctive, relief-like pattern.

Every Shaw Classy piece is created entirely in our own workshop. Woven on antique looms, dyed in indigo, sewn and washed – all in-house, no outsourcing.
