MotivMfg's classic, understated "Platica Coat" impresses not only with its outstanding silhouette and anatomical fit, but also with its exceptional 20oz Charcoal Double Weave fabric, which was produced in close collaboration with the renowned Lovat® Mill in Scotland to MotivMfg's highest standards.

This fabric, made from 100% Shetland wool, comes from wild-bred Shetland sheep on the remote northern Scottish islands – directly from the region around Lovat® Mill, the "Home of Tweed," which was founded in 1826. The wool is mulesing-free and represents ethically sustainable production.

Using a thick, robust Cheviot yarn for the warp and flexible Shetland yarn for the weft, this double-woven hopsack tweed combines durability and flexibility to provide exceptional functionality and comfort – a masterpiece of style and quality.
