The " Rasp Dobby Utility Jacket" from BLACK SIGN reimagines classic navy workwear. Inspired by the early US Navy deck jackets, but with a fresh twist: realized in a distinctive dobby fabric made of cotton and linen. A grainy texture, dry feel, and airy feel—just right for spring and mild summer days.

The pockets sit over the side seams, as in earlier models. The solid tagua nut buttons add a warm, natural touch—a conscious decision to avoid a cold, industrial look.

The fabric is dyed slowly in small batches to preserve its structure, depth, and character. The irregular surface creates a vibrant appearance.
