Made from Studio d'Artisan's own 14 oz Selvedge Sashiko Denim, a fabric that takes the traditional Japanese texture and translates it into denim.

Warp and weft threads are indigo-dyed using the Kase-Zome (hank dyeing) process – this means that the yarns are repeatedly dipped in indigo before weaving, so that each strand takes on slightly different shades of color. The result is a denim with an irregular, vibrant surface that becomes even softer over time and develops a unique fading effect.

The silhouette follows the classic regular straight fit of the SD-101 type: solid, clean, and without unnecessary experimentation. Especially in the leg, with a balanced fit across the thigh and calf, the design impresses with its everyday practicality and understated presence.

The material embodies the depth of traditional craftsmanship – the structure of the Sashiko is not only visible but also tangible, and develops a slightly different nuance with each wear.

Note: The jeans run about two sizes smaller – W34 therefore corresponds to a regular W32.
