The "Lightweight Sashiko T-Shirt" by Shaw Classy draws on the Japanese Sashiko tradition. Originally developed as an embroidery technique to reinforce and repair work clothes, it creates a visible texture – robust, graphic and vibrant.

Here, Sashiko is not embroidered, but woven directly into the fabric: a lightweight, breathable fabric in deep indigo. Over time, an individual patina develops - every wash, every day contributes to the shirt's personality.

Every Shaw Classy piece is created entirely in our own workshop. Woven on antique looms, dyed in indigo, sewn and washed – all in-house, no outsourcing.
