The "BR29658 Shirt, Utility, Sage Green" by Buzz Rickson's harks back to a period when the US Air Force had its own distinct design language. In the 1950s, cotton sateen Utility Shirts in Sage Green were favored – a shade now almost automatically associated with early flight jackets, but which was also present in everyday work at the time.

These shirts were intended for daily use, especially by ground crews and mechanics. The construction is accordingly straightforward: robust material, two generous chest pockets, no superfluous details.

The concealed button placket is more than just a design element – it is a small relic from practical everyday life, developed to prevent snagging during work.

The stamped inscription on the inside of the front placket completes the look – each piece slightly different, a silent reference to its original.
