Die „TROUSERS, HERRINGBONE TWILL CAMOUFLAGE SHORTS“ von Buzz Rickson's greifen die Camouflage-Trousers der U.S. Army aus dem Jahr 1943 auf und übertragen deren Konstruktion in eine sommerliche Shorts. Die Vorlage war Teil der zweiteiligen Tarnuniform, die für unterschiedliche Einsatzbedingungen entwickelt wurde.

Gefertigt aus dicht gewebtem Herringbone Twill, verbindet der Stoff die markante Fischgrätstruktur früher Militärgewebe mit dem klassischen Frogskin-Camouflage. Mit dem Tragen gewinnt das Gewebe zunehmend an Charakter und entwickelt eine lebendige Oberfläche.

Große aufgesetzte Taschen und die innenliegende Gasflap hinter der Knopfleiste übernehmen funktionale Details des Originals und machen deutlich, wie konsequent Buzz Rickson's historische Militärbekleidung bis in die Konstruktion hinein reproduziert.
