Fatigue pants – also known as baker pants – have long been more than just army trousers. Originally issued under the designation OG-107, the "OG" stands for olive green and "107" for the official color code of the US Army. The model evolved from the herringbone twill trousers of World War II and, starting in the 1950s, was made from robust cotton sateen – a material that quickly became standard in the US Army. Worn in Korea, ubiquitous in Vietnam.
In use until the mid-1970s, the OG-107 soon found its place outside the military as well: the anti-war movement, the hippie scene, and early punks all made the fatigue pants a statement. Whether at demonstrations in Washington, concerts in London, or in films like Platoon , they were everywhere.
This version is based on the original Type 1 cut with an adjustable waistband and rectangular button-fastening back pockets. Crafted from authentic cotton sateen, it features a mid-rise waist, wide leg, and tone-on-tone urea buttons. Robust, casual, and functional—a pair of trousers with history and attitude.
