Der "M-65 Fishtail Parka" von orSlow ist eine Hommage an eines der legendärsten Kleidungsstücke der US-Armee – den Parka, der ab Mitte der 1960er-Jahre eingeführt wurde und Generationen von Soldaten, Arbeitern und später auch Subkulturen geprägt hat.
Seinen Namen verdankt der Parka dem geteilten, „fishtail“-förmigen Saum auf der Rückseite – ursprünglich entworfen, um ihn über Stiefel zu tragen und vor Wind und Nässe zu schützen. orSlow bleibt dieser Funktionalität treu: Der Parka ist aus einer robusten Baumwoll-Nylon-Mischung gefertigt, die Wind abhält und Regen trotzt. Die Passform ist locker und gerade, mit verstellbarer Taille, Ärmelabschlüssen und Rückenpartie – ganz im Sinne des Originals.
Gefüttert werden kann der Parka mit einem passenden Liner, der sich per Knopf befestigen lässt. Der massive Reißverschluss mit Windleiste, zwei große Fronttaschen und die klare Linienführung unterstreichen den militärischen Ursprung, ohne ihn zu überzeichnen.
