With this SPECIAL EDITION, Naked & Famous takes up the Chinese New Year – more precisely, the Year of the Horse.

The denim comes from Okayama, Japan, and is woven there on traditional looms. It weighs 12.5 oz and is woven with short slub yarns. With wear, its structure opens up: irregularities become more pronounced, forming vibrant, vertical patterns. Each pair of jeans develops its own unique character.

Along the selvedge edge, there's a subtle reference to the festival: red and gold, colors that symbolize good fortune, strength, and new beginnings in Chinese culture. The vegetable-tanned leather patch and pocket flasher were designed by Andy Belanger, a Montreal-based illustrator known for his work that blends comics, graphic design, and hand-drawn illustrations.

The "Weird Guy" cut creates a slim silhouette that fits loosely at the waist and hips and tapers from the knee down.
