Der Yatagarasu Selvedge von Naked & Famous ist ein 15oz japanischer Selvedge Denim mit markantem Charakter. Inspiriert vom Yatagarasu, der mythischen dreibeinigen Krähe aus der Shinto-Tradition, die als Gott der Führung gilt.

Die Kette ist schwefelschwarz gefärbt und verleiht dem Stoff von Beginn an einen tiefen, satten Ton. Mit dem Eintragen tritt das Weiß des Schussfadens nach und nach hervor – es entstehen markante, kontrastreiche Fades, die jedem Paar eine ganz eigene Handschrift geben.

Gefertigt wird auf klassischen Shuttle Looms, was dem Denim Dichte, Substanz und eine spürbare Tiefe verleiht. Abgerundet wird er durch Details wie tonale Nähte, schwarze Pocket Bags, pink Selvedge ID und schwarze Kupfernieten. Auf der Rückseite: ein naturbelassenes Lederpatch mit schwarzem Metallic-Folienprint – gestaltet von der kanadischen Künstlerin Jacqui Oakley.

"Weird Guy" zeigt sich in einer schmalen Silhouette, die an Taille und Hüfte locker sitzt und ab dem Knie tapered ist.
