The "WWII 40's U.S. Navy Utility Trousers" from orSlow are based on 1940s utility trousers, as worn by the US Navy during World War II.

The silhouette remains close to the original: wide-cut, straight-falling, with plenty of room at the hip and a calm leg line. A shape that comes from use and works exactly as intended.

The fabric sets the tone. 100% linen, woven with slight irregularity and a dry surface – noticeably airy and made for warm days. The material is then treated with traditional Japanese Sumi ink. This process creates a deep, matte black with a slightly waxy feel and visible depth.

Over time, the appearance changes: the Sumi layer wears off, creases become more prominent, and the lighter linen gradually emerges. The trousers thus gradually develop their own unique surface.
