Cancellation Rights

You are entitled to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving grounds.

The period for cancellation is fourteen days from the day that you, or any third party authorised by you other than the carrier, have or has accepted delivery of the final item(s) of your order.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us Burg & Schild - Kay Knipschild e.K., Rosa Luxembourg Strasse 3, 10178 Berlin, onlineshop@burgundschild.com, phone: +49-30-39878884) by means of a clear statement (e.g. by letter sent by post, fax or email) of your decision to revoke this agreement,. To do so, you may, but are not required to, use the attached sample form.

In order to meet this deadline, it is sufficient to send notice of termination before expiry of the termination period.

Consequences of Cancellation

If you terminate this contract, we shall refund all payments we have received from you excluding shipping charges without delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received your return. We will issue the refund using the same method of payment that you selected for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed with you otherwise; under no circumstances will you be charged a fee for this refund. We may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned to us or until you have provided evidence that you have shipped the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must dispatch or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any event no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notified us of termination of this contract. The deadline will be deemed to have been observed if you dispatch the goods before the fourteen-day deadline has expired. We shall bear the cost of returning the goods. You will only be liable for a potential reduction in value of the goods if a test of the condition, characteristics, and functioning of the goods shows that such reduction in value was due to improper handling on your part.

There is no right of cancellation with respect to the following contracts:

for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable to be returned for reasons of health or hygiene, if the seal was removed after delivery;
for the delivery of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines with the exception of subscriptions.
