The #002 Classic Denim Jacket by Momotaro is a jacket for those who appreciate classic style – with a straight cut and a loose fit. The 15.7oz denim combines robustness with pleasant softness and is made from irregularly spun cotton yarn on traditional looms in Japan.
Dyeing takes place in Kojima, the center of Japanese denim production, where Momotaro originated. This town in Okayama Prefecture is known worldwide for its high-quality craftsmanship. The signature color, called "Tokuno Blue," is created through an intensive dyeing process that gives the denim depth and a unique look.
The result: a richly textured fabric with a vibrant indigo tone that develops an individual patina over time.
