The militaria-inspired "1002 New Yorker Pants" by orSlow are made from a ripstop fabric. This was developed in the 1960s and has special properties that are used primarily in the outdoor sector: Super tightly woven, it is extremely robust, but at the same time very light. A special weaving technique prevents tears in the fabric from tearing further.
