The "11 oz. Blue Denim Work Coat" from Sugar Cane is based on simple store-brand work jackets from the post-World War II era – pieces that were clearly made for use and not for a label.

Made from 11oz denim from Japan. Lightweight compared to classic workwear fabrics, with a clear, dry surface. The denim breaks in and develops typical signs of wear over time.

The front is functionally designed and slightly asymmetrical. On the right, a chest pocket with a flap, on the left, the characteristic "3-in-1" pocket for tools and small items. Additionally, large, lined front pockets and an extra inner pocket.

The collar follows an older construction with an attached neckband, as was common in early work coats before these details were later simplified.
