The 14.25 oz DENIM UNION STAR JEANS by Sugar Cane are based on a legend from the 1960s: Back then, Sugar Cane produced the Star Jeans with the signature star-shaped stitch exclusively for the PX (Post Exchange) at US military bases in Japan. Today, this iconic model has been reissued based on original dead-stock jeans.
The jeans come in a classic regular straight fit and, with their robust 14.25oz denim, bring a true vintage feel back into everyday life. Sugar Cane stands for the utmost care in every step – from spinning and weaving to dyeing and sewing. The result is denim that's worth a journey back in time, not only visually but also in its craftsmanship.
With their "Standard Denim Series," SUGAR CANE pursues their goal of creating reproductions that are identical to the original, from the silhouette to the details and even the texture of the denim. And they've done so with great success!
