Die "MDNT-003 14oz Midnight Straight Jeans" von PURE BLUE JAPAN ist aus einem eigens entwickelten 14oz Selvedge Denim. Für den charakteristischen „Midnight“-Ton kombiniert PURE BLUE JAPAN mit Indigo und Schwefelfarbe gefärbte Kettfäden mit schwarzen Schussfäden. Dadurch entsteht ein tiefes Indigo mit einer subtilen schwarzen Nuance – die besondere Farbstellung, die dem Denim seinen Namen gibt.
Wie beim bekannten XX-14oz-Denim des Labels besitzt auch dieser Stoff eine angenehm ausgeprägte, leicht unregelmäßige Oberflächenstruktur. Mit zunehmendem Tragen verändern sich die übereinanderliegenden Farbtöne und die Haptik des Denims; der Stoff entwickelt dabei seine ganz eigene Optik.
Der Regular-Straight-Schnitt fällt insgesamt großzügig und gerade aus.
