The "01-6048-61S 1930s Canvas Hunting Jacket" by orSlow draws inspiration from American hunting jackets of the 1930s. They were made from durable cotton canvas and closely resembled the work jackets of their time in construction, with added details for use in the field. A typical feature is the large game pocket on the back, where hunters could store downed game or equipment, keeping their hands free.

Compared to a classic coverall jacket, this jacket fastens with only three buttons, giving it a shorter, more open front. The collar is trimmed with wide-wale corduroy, adding a soft, classic accent to the sturdy canvas.

The canvas is slightly lighter than that used for heavy work jackets and is stonewashed after sewing. This makes the fabric supple, softens the black, and gives the edges and seams the character of a worn jacket from the outset.
