These rugged "5.0" Matrix Boots" from Double Helix are crafted from carefully selected horsehide – specifically from the horse's butt, known for its density and strength, with a particular focus on the loin area, whose wavy grain resembles subtle tiger stripes.

The leather is hand-dyed with pure aniline, which particularly highlights its characteristic structures and multi-layered color tones. With wear, the leather develops a calm, gently shimmering patina that underlines the individual character of each boot.

Crafted with Goodyear-welted stitchdown construction, it creates a direct, robust build with high stability and good grip. The craftsmanship is minimalistic and precise, the last clearly defined. A boot for daily use that improves with time – just like Double Helix leather jackets.
