These rugged "5.0" Matrix Boots" from Double Helix are crafted from carefully selected horsehide – specifically from the horse's buttock, known for its density and firmness, with a special focus on the loin area, whose wavy grain resembles subtle tiger stripes.

The leather is dyed with pure aniline hand-dyeing, which particularly accentuates the characteristic structures and multifaceted color tones. With wear, the leather develops a calm, gently shimmering patina that emphasizes the individual character of each boot.

Crafted with Goodyear-Welted Stitchdown construction, this results in a direct, robust build with high stability and good grip. The workmanship is streamlined and precise, the last clearly defined. A boot for daily use that improves with time – just like Double Helix leather jackets.
