The 13.5oz Selvedge Denim is made from Zimbabwean cotton. The irregular yarn structure creates a distinctively vibrant surface. With wear, the denim develops characteristic fading: initially, light spots appear on the surface, which over time merge into vertical fade lines.
For the construction, TCB uses four different yarn colors and five yarn thicknesses, which are deliberately used depending on the seam to replicate the different seam patterns of the vintage original. The rivets on the back pockets are concealed, while the pocket bags are intentionally finished with coarse seams. The paper patch was also carefully studied from the original: it is hand-sewn and constructed in such a way that it tears with wear, revealing the dark blue underside.
The cut combines a high rise with a generous thigh and a slightly tapered leg. The jeans are one-wash, meaning they have already been washed once.
