The "50's Jacket" from TCB reconstructs a 1950s trucker jacket based on a vintage original. TCB manufactures the jacket in Kojima, Okayama, the center of Japanese denim production.
The 13.5oz Selvedge Denim is made from 100% cotton from Zimbabwe. Its irregular yarn structure gives the fabric a lively, slightly uneven surface. With wear, the denim visibly changes and develops high-contrast fading along the creases.
The construction closely follows the historical model. The front pockets are double-stitched, while the Bar Tacks are executed in shape, strength, and position according to the original. Compared to the vintage original, the jacket is cut slightly narrower at the chest and sleeves and is slightly longer overall.
The handmade Paper Patch is designed to tear with wear, revealing the dark blue underside. The jacket is One-Wash, meaning it has already been washed once.
