The A-1 Flight Jacket, developed in 1927 for USAAC pilots, symbolizes the beginnings of modern aviation. Although it was replaced by the A-2 in the early 1930s, the A-1 remains a timeless icon.

The authentic version of DOUBLE HELIX is made from high-quality horse leather and impressively shows the craftsmanship of the Japanese label. The "tea core" dyeing, a traditional vegetable process, does not allow the color to fully penetrate the leather and gives it a very special, lively patina that gains even more character over time.

Every detail, from the buffalo horn buttons to the 100% wool cuffs to the lining, has been carefully recreated from the original.
